Take a look at this cross-eyed stereogram. As you may notice, some of the colors are different for each eye. Viewed in stereo, this may produce rather interesting results. You may see impossible colors, in this case, teal-purple and yellow-red. However, apparently not everyone can see this. I hear for some people they see a blend of the two colors as one, a brownish purple gray (?) and orange in this case I predict. I want to know how many people can see the effect and how many cannot.

I kind of see them flicker and blend.
Also, that teal-purple colour is called 'octarine'.

It kinda flashes between the two colors for me. I still see two distinct colors.
Edit: Yeah like he said. ha.

I'm not entirely sure whether I see it or not - it strobes between the two colours for me. It does look neat, though.

I usually can see the staticky-looking stereograms almost instantly, but i can't seem to see this one. The images look too far apart, maybe?

Also teal+purple should make blue/gray doesn't it?

It flickers between two colors for me, too, but I still like that effect.

Hmmmmm, my mind doesn't appear to be playing any tricks on me. I'm slightly disappointed, haha.

I can only see one at a time, even when they're overlapping.

For the purple teal, I see a gradient of the two. The red and yellow is hard to line up so I see various transitioning things.

For the green and yellow, I see a color that seems like a teal-purple gradient. So, I guess that's it?

I can't cross my eyes enough to tell, so they're separate to me.
...Or am I not doing it right... ?

Try looking from further away; There's a "sweet spot" for 3D viewing. If you're too close it's too hard to cross your eyes enough. Also, I realized since this isn't actually a 3D image at all, you can also view it by putting your eyes in parallel instead of crossed if that's your preferred method. So far it seems about a third can see the effect. Interesting.

you don't just need to cross your eyes, I noticed I also have to tilt my head a bit to make it work probably because my head is not perfectly level in normal use.

I see a cool flickering/blending effect, but nothing I'd describe as an "impossible colour". I seem to see teal/red more, which would be what my left eye is looking at.
