Love the graphics style. As other posters have said, it really took me back to the LBA days Tongue

I'm looking forward to seeing how this game develops :-)

I've worked out a better process for creating .gifs now. The dithering is not quite right but the performance is certainly better so hopefully future posts will be better/quicker.

Here's a rather boring one. I've been tweaking the attack animation to make it a bit 'snappier' (for want of a better word). Also changed the swipe effect as I didn't really like the big transparent arcs I was using before.

How great, dunno why but somehow it evokes me like Little Big Adventure would have been ported to pixel art!

^ Really nice animations! What are you using for your engine? Game Maker?

EDIT: Ah, Haxe and OpenFL. Nice to hear. What's your experience with it been like?

I really like OpenFL. I've been using it for about 2 years now (or NME as was).

Haxe is well suited to me as I'd been almost exclusively a Flash/ActionsScript developer for about 10 years. The earliest prototypes of Inom were made in Flash and it was really easy to jump across to Haxe and OpenFL.
