This is a little web platformer I've been working. It's almost done, and I'd love to hear what you think! I'm hoping to put out iOS and Android versions soon. It's made in Construct 2, all the art is my own, and the music is open source by a band called Nurnburg Trial.

Updated with a new build! Lots of goodies. Also, it's now on the Kongregate site so all their leaderboard stuff is in it.

New features:
- Changed control scheme
- New graphics
- Hi-score system (in-built and Kongregate)
- Fixed keyboard focus bug
- Fixed city not scrolling correctly
- Fixed player occassionally getting stuck on buildings
- A lot more I can't remember off the top of my head

It's pretty well put together, but reminds me a bit too much of Canabalt. If you're still iterating on it, I'd like to see it distinguish itself more from Canabalt.

Also, the double jumping could use more feedback, sometimes when I double jumped I wasn't sure if it registered or not. It'd be cool if he had a different 'fall' sprite when he double jumps.

Anyway, good work!

I thought this was really good. Loving the creative concept like the "jump strength"

Gameplay is really smooth and fluid

I like the part where if you hit the helicopter it says "thats your head" lol..nice touch there



Overall a good game.

Updated version! Fairly big changes:
  • New mechanic - charge jump (hold down W)
  • New mechanic - teleport (while in the air, tap E)
  • Fix - double jumping now works
  • Fix - helicopters should not longer spawn directly above walls
  • Fix - changed layout to not block the view of incoming obstacles
  • Feature - ya can't input swear-words as high-score names anymore. But don't try, I might have missed one or two.

@Petey - Thanks! I've changed the mechanics a bit, adding a charge mechanic which it originally had, but it was broken so I threw it out. Decided to put it back in after getting a fair bit of feedback like that! Double jumping was broken actually - fixed now!
