Excellent movie for any one involved in game-conjuring.
To spoil the first scene (so you don't read an entire analysis) :
A new direct-to-nervous system game system comes out, and during its testing, a visitor attempts to kill the designer. She escapes with a guy from marketing in the firm, and they soon find themselves porting into another virtual world..

eXistenZ came out at about the same time as The Matrix. Being a poor student at the time, I could only afford to see one of those films. I saw The Matrix a couple of years after that though, so it's all good.
