Hello Everyone,

We're new to the indie development scene and released our first game few days back.

The game is called ROTO: A Simple Circular Puzzle and is available for Android Devices.

The game has won a few awards since it's prototype stage for it's simple, yet engaging gameplay.

You can check it out here:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lucidlabs.roto

Give me your thoughts about the game. I'd appreciate that.

Also, what advices do you have for a new startup. I have different questions ranging from What parts do I need to concentrate on? What different ways can one use to get their game to public? to all sorts.. Any and all advices are welcomed. Also, if you're finding any problem with this game, please notify me.

Looks cool, unfortunately I don't have an Android device to test it on at the moment.

Kindof reminds me of Star Trigon.

Yea looks cool and I am kind of in the same boat. I am releasing my first game on the 8th.

Have you tried getting sites to review your game? that is my plan as well as spreading the word on gaming sites and what not.

Looks like you already have quite a few reviews on the game thats good!

We're still planning our moves. Saw indiegamegirl video and got some ideas about how to go ahead. Right now we're focused on getting reviews about the game from experts and developers like yourself. We haven't officially announced about the game yet. We'd be going to Casual Connect Asia, Singapore, where the game is nominated for Indie Prize Showcase. So we've planned to officially launch the game around that time. We aren't sure if it'd go in our favor or not but considering it's our first game we'd want to take that risk to learn more. We might also find some coverage there hopefully. Wink

Haha.. Didn't see this coming. I hope this doesn't go in the wrong direction. We'd want the Spanish community to play it. :D

So, the game is close to 5000 downloads and we got some features recently

We've received some features from known sites:

>Indian Video Gamer: http://www.indianvid...view-roto/24111

>Bahumar Gaming: http://gnn.gamer.com.tw/9/96909.html

>IGN: http://in.ign.com/en...-now-on-android

but the game is slowly declining since past few days. What can i do to keep it alive?

This game is pretty good! I think improving the visual style could benefit it greatly and I think it's the biggest deterrent for a larger audience.

To prevent your game's interest from declining you can always include updates and keep reaching out to media.

From an average of 500-100 downloads per day we're getting 150-200 per day.
