LISTEN

A fairly heavy orchestral piece I'm designing. I find it sounds quite... eerie. I'd like to see if you guys agree.

Also, some critique would be awesome.

Enjoy!

PS: No, it's not really mixed yet.

Nice! It's heavy, orchestral, and eerie, exactly what it says on the tin. ;-)

By the way, if you're open to suggestions (I assume with "work in progress" you would be...I hope), I would really suggest humanizing those snare rolls, either by humanizing the rhythm, or preferably by building them up in volume, making them more roll-like. Other than that, there's nothing else I can critique.

Looking forward to hearing how it progresses!

Alright. Thanks for the suggestions. I work on the snare volume.

I'm not sure whether it was the heavy echo or the sound effect itself, but the high female voice seemed kind of rough; there was no clear boundary at the start or end of each note, making it sound a bit out-of-step. You might want to try toning the echo down a little.

EDIT: Christ, sorry. Was looking at old and new posts in the same window, and forgot to check the dates. As necroposting goes, I guess it could be worse.
