Hey guys, my first post here Smiley

So here's the thing: i want to make a game for quite a while now and i know i'm not the only one, but i've started around 1000 projects by now and discarded them, because they seemed mediocre or not innovative enough to me.

Here's a list of some stuff i've done:

Some snake/tron game:

A contra like engine (arrow keys, x and c are the controls):

A shmup engine(arrow keys, x and c are the controls):

Some top down shooter (arrow keys and mouse):

A tower climbing game with weird controls...you basicly jump as high as fast as you run:

The thing is that i mostly enjoy programming and making stuff work, after that my motivation seems to fade. Therefore i would like to collaborate with an artist/level designer to work on a new, more ambitious project from scratch. I prefer something with platforming, but i'm open minded about it..so if anyone is interested please contact me.  Coffee

This is literally your only post on this forum.
Show some care for the community, get involved, and maybe someone will notice you.
I know I can't take somebody seriously when their profile is classified as "Manbaby".

Every single one of those projects is described as being like something else, or an absolutely generic version of a game in that genre.  I'm not surprised that you think they aren't special.

Instead of looking for an artist and hoping they'll make the game fun, stop and use *less* art and make the game fun without it.  Then when you put the art on, it'll be a great game, instead of just a mediocre game with great art.
