The one in the original post (that saves the file as "temp") or the one in my post above (that saves the file as "temp.wav")?

Hm... Worth a try.
Try this one. It saves the temp file as "temp.wav" instead of "temp".

Hmm... Maybe I should have it like that in the main version too. It makes no big difference anyway. And the user wont really notice the file unless they navigate to their temp folder.
I wonder if the extension was the problem all along...?

I'm getting this error message when trying to run it on Linux (Kubuntu 8.04):

So probably that's all the program needs to run on Linux, but I'm definitely not going to install mono on my pc, so I'll try to find some spare time to test it on Windows.
