You're supposed to release the zoom button for those parts. You don't lose your momentum meter as long as you keep moving, and it doesn't reset in midair at all unless you get hit.
I know, I figured that out--but it just doesn't feel very intuitive.

I really loved this. I'm a poor college student, so I'm unable to donate any money. However, expect a write-up at PTT sometime next week.

actually the only levels i like are the boss ones, where you can die... i don't really feel replaying a level over and over to improve my score, i've liked it more if you could actually die falling and you needed to replay the levels to actually do a good run, so no, i'm not actually donating as i'm not even bother to complete the game.
The frustration is completely gone ok, but also all the gameplay for me

I know, I figured that out--but it just doesn't feel very intuitive. I guess if it weren't for that, then you would be holding down zoom pretty much all the time - the only moments you'd need to release it would be to avoid sleeping ones and occasionally to slow down. Also, you can count on a donation from me when I finish the game (unless you decided to add escort missions from world 5 onwards or something ).

Aw... Runman got jammed infinitely in a crevice... Great work on the game, it's a lot of fun. Reminds me heavily of yoshi's story!

Aw... Runman got jammed infinitely in a crevice... I like how impressed all the hills in the background look as they watch RunMan's glorious explosion of stars.

This is the only game I can think of where the JPEG artifacts on the screenshots make them better.

Man, I definitely reshaped that part of the level at some point in development specifically to avoid that glitch. Some kind of accidental version forking/overwriting probably made us lose it. I hope we didn't lose anything else in the process. I made this particular change a long while ago, though. In any case, that'll be fixed in the next version.

Mmmkay, I've gotten gold medals on all of the first three worlds, and unlocked all the hidden characters.
I think 1-5 should be made a little bit easier for the gold medal. It's earlier in the game, so the huge increase in difficulty felt out of place (not difficulty in beating the level, but difficulty in getting the gold badge for it).
World 3 and World 4 are about where I started failing badly when I first played through the game. You really have to work out how to dive well if you want to beat them in a decent time. I only got a bronze medal on one level in area 3!

Spectacular game guys. The graphical style is superb. I'm curious to know how much has been donated in total. Care to let me know?
