I think a much bigger problem developers face is surrounding themselves with people who will vett their words and always give feedback biased towards kindness.

very true, you gotta consider any change you do in a game from both positive and negative standpoints, else you will end up making content thats only liked by a small number of people that are agreeing to everything the devs do anyways.

I've changed the game's title menu background to encourage character customisation.





If people have to look at their player all the time they'll be much more likely to change it into something they are proud of or connect with.

just... wow, it looks amazing!
i would though add some slight dark box under the buttons so they can be seen easier.
on a completely unrelated note, on steam is says the game will be finished fourth quarter this year, is that info still up to date? or will you take longer than previously expected? either way, I heard a few things about a demo or beta, just out of interest, is there a date when you plan on starting the beta?

oh my, in ten days already? I will definitely test the game out, if my 5 year old laptop can handle it, that is.
will there be some "reward" for buying the game in early access? I personally do not like that kind of thing, but its up to you and might attract more attention early on.

check a bit earlier posts, the game will have steam workshop support if possible. also, if you really want custom models, you could make a model in the same program as the original ones and substitute them in the game files, though only you could see the difference.

time to count the hours till I can get my hands on it...
62 hours remaining...
btw, will you collect peoples opinions and suggestions here, or will you make some kind of ingame survey thingy? the latter may be better to collet data from more people, cause they may be too lazy to go here
also, on another note, how much will the game cost in prerelease? I wont be able to buy anything for a while after sunday, so i want to put enough money in my steam wallet beforehand

Opinions are welcome wherever I may be to read them.
I have pre-made a survey in-case I feel the need to use it, but I think most people will use either the official forums or the steam forums to lodge their bugs and complaints and stuff.

The game is going to cost $13.50  US on launch day, after that it goes up to 15$
Glad you are so eager to play Smiley
Except it only makes me more stressed about having the servers ready :S

nah, no worries about that, even if the server isnt done on time, I could still test if a. my laptop can run it or b. how character creation or singleplayer is

We have dedicated servers set up in Australia, I'm currently getting them set up in Strasbourg and then we'll get some in the US
HOPEFULLY all before we launch

I make the sound effects, the music is generally royalty free stuff bought from around the internet.
