Yet another idea: How about a backwards comicompo? The first in line draws the first page, the next the second to last, and so on. If we mixed this with the idea of having knowledge of two previously drawn pages, it could lead to more readable, yet interesting results.

I think that's a pretty awesome idea. I don't think I've ever seen a story written backwards (though there are plenty of stories that are told backwards). It would be an exercise in finding a cause to go with an effect... like debugging.

I really like the idea of a OPMOCIMOC for sure.
However, I am still interested in a anthology mainly for the fact that I wouldn't mind to see what kind of stories everyone would be able to do given a solid theme.

OPMOCIMOC idea is awesome. Maybe run a 10 page comicompo regularly, and then ask the next 10 people to do it backwards (only looking at the last page of the first comicompo)? Ah there's too many too complex ideas but out of the lot of them, opmocimoc strikes me as the most interesting.

We did a backwards story once. Timed rather than comic pages. The finished article was really strange and lighthearted at the start but super serious and dramatic at the end. Probably cause the last couple of paras were set in a graveyard with someone visiting graves.
In the middle one character was killed trying to defuse a bomb. Which is no wonder considering....
The starting paragraphs were about that same character coming home from his work at the laundromat.

Has anyone stopped to think that that idea -although fun- would end up a trainwreck?

That's the whole point of it!
Why do you think people still have Klik 'n Play competitions?

I was gonna suggest having the next one have two people going at once, one starting at the end, the other from the beginning, and having two teams converge in the center, with the knowledge of the last finished innermost pages.
So like, it would start with Jack doing pg 1 and Jill doing pg 40, then Joe and Bob would both do pages 2 and 39 respectively, each with knowledge of both pages 1 and 40, then pages 3 and 38 would be done with knowledge of pages 2 and 39, etc.

That'll only work if 20 and 21 can confer. Otherwise you'll have a sheer.

Just give it an odd number of pages. Problem solved. That's a cool idea, too. Honestly, tho, I'd be down to try just about anything. Anthology, Reverse Compo, 'normal' compo, multiple-branches-compo, etc. I just wanna draw stuff

Maybe I should just organize a small casual Comicompo while Xerus is busy?

1 page stories. Whole story has to take place on one page. (and be legible in A4?)

Maybe instead of that create a compilation of 3-page stories, made in the same fashion as the normal Comicompo, with the third page not knowing how the first page was. I can start it as soon as I get confirmation some peeps are up to it. I mean, shoudln't be too hard to organize, besides booting some people in the ass to get them to work.
