It's probably the "time" overlay making it look flatter.  I could play around with blending and try to have it so it doesn't look like it's fogging it up.

Really loving the art style. Everything looks clean and tight. It would be nice to see a somewhat larger viewport, though! To see more of that art, of course. Grin

Heh, haven't been working on it for a few months.  I started working on another project recently though.  I've been posting GIFs of it on my Twitter account, as well as a few on here, if you're interested.
