So it's the new season. Anyone excited for anything? http://haruhichan.com/static/images/charts/deliver.php?c=Summer2013Of what I've seen the first episode of so far, C3-bu and Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi have the most potential. I'm hoping Gen'ei wo Kakeru Taiyou will be good, but, well ... I kind of doubt it. And Kingdom is good - nice that they actually have a budget this time rather than relying entirely on that awful CG. Finished watching Robotics;Notes, an anime about a robotics club trying to build a robot.
It starts off pretty good but like a lot of anime it shifts midway into something a bit more serious, I think that made it even better by giving it a bit more depth than just the high school kids building a robot with small hindrances thing. Also for a series that has quite a lot of sad moments it managed to be quite happy throughout.

I'm watching that now. It started off quite strong. Episode 6, which I just finished, was the worst so far. The schtick seems to be that every central character perpetually has exaggerated insecurities, namely about one another. I hope this picks up. Enjoyed watching animated characters play jazz.
Anyway.. since I'm so out of touch with anime, someone can explain this to me. What's with some characters having a fang? Are they always gay or something?
