it's exclusively for the public.
it's all public.

there's a 5$ cover for the time ever this time around.
but it's totally worth it.
you should come to the IGDA meeting at the same place tomorrow, too.

Nudity eh?  What will you artsy Montrealers come up with next?  Gentleman

So up until now the event has been free?  Crazy!  Edmonton has always been $5, which, given the caliber of the event, still seems like a steal to me.

And to everyone here, check here to see if your city is putting them on yet.  If so, then go, it's like the best idea for an event ever.

Because fish left it to the imagination, I'll ruin that and give the detailed description of Pecha Kucha: basically, powerpoint on crack; each presenter gets 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide (they're not in control of that, haha) to give their presentation and show off whatever design related project they've been working on lately.  Great fun, and you come away feeling like there are still people in the world with good ideas.  So even if you aren't convinced yet, just go anyway, you're sure to like at least a few of the presenters, and it's so fast that sitting through the lousy ones isn't much of a problem.

And if you like speaking in public, then see about doing a presentation on Independent Gaming at the PK night in your city, as most people know so little about it.

I can confirm that there was steroscopic nudity. Except Phil was the only one with 3D glasses.

I can confirm that there was steroscopic nudity. Except Phil was the only one with 3D glasses, but using his powers of telepathy he was able to directly pipe his 3d-glasses - augmented Phil Fish stereoscopic vision to the minds of all present.
