Core Xii seems to be pretty close already. In fact, I think I like his landscape shots there better than the teaser on their page.

I think they're still working on the game. I just think they are extremely bad at updating their website. Website updates != progress of the game.

Yeah Core, those fractal trees are looking sweet. Really liking the underwater scene too (if it is underwater). You could smooth out the vines in the first screen, though, so they don't have that mouse-drawn look to them.

I know the first mockup is just terrible. The branches of the trees are all the same length and the grass is really thick. It was just to present the art style really.

Hey, I'm glad to see that the thread hasn't gone completely off-topic! I'm also liking the screens I'm seeing of what xii has done. Also as others have said, if something even similar comes out, I'll be into it. I was really looking forward to this game though, the spinning room 'puzzle', the atmospheric tone, it was all really interesting. I'm a sucker for atmospheric games. Like Shadow of the Colossus. Hell, I even wrote a review for that game. |
