More procedural ASCII incoming. This is an effect for the hammer impact, but I can already see it used for other things.

Looks good, but I think an impact should behave more like an explosion. Those should start super-fast, then slow down.

Cool reference. The above will evolve into a couple of rings that grow outward from the impact point. I'll test some sparks as well.

Excellent, I wouldn't lay an ascii game unless it had animations like these, nice splash looks smooth. There's another competitor on Steam called SanctuaryRPG - Heads Up!

Those particles have been there for a while, but I suppose I never posted anything with them. At this point the animation is a really good 1st version. I may improve more later. I have to move on, to work on non-visual parts of the new item system. For example, it's not even subtracting the Fire Wand and Sword yet! Infinite items!

this looks good, but i'm commenting to let you know that even though it says 'greenlit on steam' i wasn't able to find the greenlight link in the first post or in the last page or in your signature; do you have a link for it? it's probably somewhere in these 40 pages but i don't want to dig through all the pages to find it so i thought i'd ask.
