That's pretty great. The colours and details work great as a contrast to the top section.

serenework, you've got an art style there that I'd love to see in more games. Rayman's recent titles have come much closer to this, but they lack the texture that your character's colors have. Have you ever done a spritesheet in this style? The spirit world looks absolutely brilliant JLJac. I love the pinks and light blues, it's a combination I never would have expected, but it captures that foreign world feeling quite well. (no yellow-orange/blue stuff here ;P)

Behold, the quintessential half-dead project of TIGsource: Café. Huh. I am reminded of Another World meets Cave Story, but with the art style of Flight. Big, solid shapes of faded light and dark, but distinct colors. (lots of blues and reds) The objects it makes are very detailed though. Which is *way* different from this other style! But, is also cool. No, I was thinking more a high resolution, straight-out-of-a-painting (not a hint of pixel art) style game. Of course, no objections to seeing both...

JLJac: that's really amazing and inspiring. Now I want to use a similar contrast in a painting... :D

Rayman Origins is a beautiful game. I was constantly weirded out by the contrast between the detailed, painterly backgrounds and the flat characters, though. I'd love to do a game with a more detailed look. Perhaps some day!
