This is the first pixel anything and first animation anything I've ever done, but I think it came out pretty good. It's a 6 frame 8 direction walk cycle that I made for Ludum Dare 32. Clicking on it will take you to the LDJam game it was in.

I actually like the second one better. The over head angle on the character makes more sense to me. I do agree though that the first angle is a bit more retro. So guess it all depends on what your going for.

Did this for pixel dailies, in about an hour I think. Kind of like. Used the 32 color dawnbringer palette, and is upscaled 4x
