1. Start looking for a new job!
Make sure this is not considered grounds for termination first or be stealthy about it.
When would it be? Surely it is illegal to fire someone just for looking for another job?
It depends on where you are and the terms of your employment.

Gotta depend on the country. My prejudice about the US for example is that unions are pretty weak and that you can be fired when your boss feels like it. But I don't live there Wink
