Works on linux through Wine, too. I didn't hear music though, but the sfx worked. Might be a booboo on my end though.

Xion, I had one guy have major issues with Wine. At least, the bugs he reported were things noone else experienced. Hopefully you don't have the same obstacles.

okay well I bought this game and it's amazing. YEAH.
anyways I ran into an error.

When I was fighting that blue girl whos name I forget, I got killed by one of her attacks just as the scene was about to transition to the dragon fight part. I was killed in the bottom right corner, but when it showed the clip of me dying, it showed me in the top right corner, mostly off the screen. When I selected continue, my character's sprite was as if I was jumping, but I was completely motionless in the normal spawn place. I could pause and the game acted as if it was playing except for the fact that I couldn't move or use any attacks.

also 463 combo

A most excellent game, as has already been said.  However, a couple of issues:

on the dragon boss on the water wheel, if you fall in the water some pink star things attach to you and damage you over time.  I don't know if it restricted my movement as well but it seemed like it, and I found myself completely losing the rhythm and rather wishing I could fight them off.  I dunno whether it was just my poor skill but it felt somewhat unfair as it more or less condemned me to death.

Seccond, the third (and last?) form of the final boss doesn't seem to have a health bar.  I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature, but it is certainly annoying as I am always on low health by the final form and don't know how much I've damaged her.  This is a particular frustration as I have yet to unlock level select and so would have to go through the whole game again to have another 7 chances at fighting her.  Grr.  (I've quit at my last continue in hopes on getting tips/response).

Otherwise, this is fantastic and most definitely worth my £10.  Yay!

- To kill the pink jellies that get stuck to you during that boss fight, use the up dash in mid air to shake them off quickly.

- The final boss doesnt have a health bar to make it more epic.  It becomes instantly riskier to attack her, not knowing if you can attack enough for the kill before she kills you, which adds to the fight I think.  And if you watch her close enough, her attack patterns change slightly when shes low on health (I think) so thats a good give away on how dead she may be getting.

*LAST BOSS TACTICS!!!*

She does attacks depending on her three altitudes. Towards the end she stays in the middle and does a new attack until the end.

I made a video of Shady Handz for those curious ones who hasn't bought game and still wants to see it.

I'm also planning of making series of NL2 bosses and minibosses, it just depends, does people want something like it?

Erm, trying to download the latest patch with Opera, and all I'm getting are adverts - frequently porno. Undecided

Also, I'm having trouble installing it once I do switch to another browser to download it - it tells me I have an unknown version. Possibly because I was one of the ones test-buying the game the day before? Wink

Without wanting to read through eleven pages about this game, I thought it was pretty darn solid; I had no technical troubles, and thought the graphics and sound were totally spot-on.  My only gameplay issue, which might be something that I could get over pretty easily, is that it seems almost two easy to be putting in a fair amount of work while not actually moving forward one bit.  That is to say, sometimes when I have to make a concerted decision to disengage some guys to make it forward to the next screen, I feel a bit like I'm cheating :/  But I'm not sure if that's a fault as such at all, might just take a bit of getting used to.  Smiley
