See title.
I want to make some J2ME games, but I hate Java.
I'm aware that there's a GM->J2ME converter, but it's very limited and doesn't work very well.
Any suggestions?

Well, I once downloaded a program called MoMini or something which resembled Game Maker and was capable to create games for mobilephones. However, I never actually used it so I don't know it's capabilities, limits, license or anything.

If you can remember its name, please let me know! A quick search returns nothing.

it's mominis
Also you should go back to the root of the forums to do the search.

That said you should really learn J2Me if you want to be serious.

you could also check out processing mobile, its a pretty easy language to get to grips to and (I think) compiles to J2ME

This looks very interesting! Might even make the Java bearable.
