hmm, i can't say i'd be too excited to watch that. i'm not fully knowledgeable to all the details concerning his game or film, but it all just seems like a means to generate hype for himself. when things are sensational just for the sake of causing a stir, they're pointless imho.

but back to MIGS, should i be ok with just an exhibition pass? i didn't realize the rest of the summit cost so much.

I dunno if I'll be able to have a pass too...
Hmmm... Maybe we could watch the whole event through a window? Wink

Or, we could get together anyway... Then seduce the guards and then slip inside... Maybe not...

Anyway, keep us noticed of the details Fish!

poop! then i emailed my entry to the wrong address  Lips Sealed

Mine has been sent!
Out of curiosity, is there anyone who didn't not have the time to finish?

I didn't. I had a planned vacation the last 2.5 weeks and my latest work on my game was done under influence of a very annoying jetlag. It's playable, but not really fun. yet.  Cry

Yeah, I ran out of time because of poor design hahaha. That is, nothing wrong with the design itself, but it took too much time to make ánd wasn't suited well for just 5 minutes of playtime.
I've now changed the idea completely into something different, but I had like 3 effective days to complete that which unfortunately wasn't enough time either.

@Fish: Does all this mean the deadline has changed because the demo night will be months later? That would probably give me more than enough time to finish my game (something I'm going to do anyways).

when i said demo night i was referring to the IGDA demo night, not the gamma256 party. and i think fish was also talking about the IGDA night as well.

Awesome.  This is great news Phil.  Any chance you can give notice to people who will be showing their games at the event sooner rather than later?  I'll be in town for MIGS so it won't be so much an issue for me I'm thinking it might be for other people coming from out of town.  For getting time to book a place to stay and arrange travel.

1-bit music? That's crazy. A bit too weird for my tastes, though.

we'll try to post some details tonight.

also, some of the games are gonna be on TEE VEE!
given their creators give me clearance.

(for the locals; M.Net @ Musiqueplus, november 20th, 7pm. ill be there to talk about the whole thing and show some games)
