They share the topology? is it really for a character generator? However dig the current style! Smiley  Hand Thumbs Up Right
They share hand, foot, ear and face topology, the torso's needed different topology because boobs.
It's going to be for the Kingdoms Rise 2 character generator, if we make a Kingdoms Rise 2.
I'm just making assets for games I might one day finish

MMMmmm I want to do a topo that is universal (like makehuman but with less range), I have still hard time to see why ob would be such a problem.

Also the topo must be procedural happy by clever placement of "extrude loop". I have figure out what the minimum is just for the face, hand and feet still pose trouble (finger they are many) And I'm partial about where to strategically place pole on the skull (the quick method I use so far in modeling is starting with a box and extrude head and body, it doesn't have pretty pole on top, I need to move them closer to the ear for a ear loop). I'm taking advantage of that a lot of loop are actually parallel so it can be compressed in some way, subdivided or removed, and that a lot of loop are actually compounded on top of parallel line and can be extracted by extrusion creating extrusion loop (as discovered with face loop on top of a 6x6 grid) which mean that operation need to be order dependent (this order dependence allow for compression by reducing complexity). It's a pet project so i'm not working on this full time, but I plan to make a character generator as soon as I finished my goddamn current project.

Looks great, yet when it comes to female reptile-likes I hate it when they are portrayed with breasts Lips Sealed. But on the other hand I think your creatures might be monotremes/proto-mammals. They usually have cloacae (and breasts) Wizard. So your depiction might be very authentic Gentleman

As i recall corectly, milk is secreted onto skin for baby to lick.
Animal-people with clear human sexual dimorphism belong to uncanny valley of things that are wrong for human brain and generally creepy. We despise furries for a reason.

You forgot rib-cage for both of them so it looks as if they missing a middle. Also feet is super-small for that proportions.

Thanks for that feedback, I totally remade the torso of the female once I saw what was wrong.

The guys chest looks more like armour plates than actual chest muscles to me. Sad Actually I think many parts of him look bizarre but I guess muscular people actually look like that, haha. <//3

But other than that I'm impressed!

It hits an interesting spot between realism and non-realism.

Now make them interesting by adding hair and stuff!!

Get a real anatomy book to model mans torso. All the muscles are wrong in some way.

The materials are going to have racial attribute sliders, so you can turn up "African'ness" from 0 to 1
I'll post a screenshot soon

can you be more specific about the muscles? I had google images and an anatomy reference model the whole time I was making these, I can't really see what you mean

You will remove the global skin color from texture and add color in shader I suppose? or you will interpolate 2 textures to create all the shade and control details? I'm interested in skin texture lately too ... I haven't found enough in depth tuts from ground up that f****ing don't involve z brush Sad or photo piercing, the less said about black skin >.> SO if you have any tips, i'm collecting them for study Who, Me?

Epic games have said they will try to implement HairWorks into ue4 over the next 3 or 4 months
