For the latest update, we fixed a few glaring bugs, included a large amount of audio, and revamped the UI. One of the most important things we did was add a free-play mode where players can build to their heart's content without worrying about oncoming enemies. This was because we noticed players would sit around and continue to build things after they lost because they wanted to see the higher-tier buildings. This plays more into the clicker elements of the game. With this, the game is slightly more casual and welcoming to more people. As we continue to progress along our journey, we plan on ironing out some small bugs, adding some quality-of-life changes for the player, and changing some of the buildings to be more visually appealing. We also plan on adding more turret types and more enemy types.

What’s New?
This week we added more ducks, more towers, and more sounds! Consequently, there have been a lot of balancing changes needed to incorporate all the new features. We tweaked frequencies and intensities of waves; we made it so enemies target and destroy structures; we tweaked prices of structures and introduced a price scaling system; And of course, we have fixed a fair amount of gameplay bugs.
What’s the Motivation?
Adding more ducks helps the game's difficulty scaling not purely rely on the quantity of enemies. Adding more towers gives players a more rewarding experience while climbing through the tiers. The gameplay tweaks have been made to give the player a more interesting and challenging experience.
What’s Next?
Our main focus is to add more juice and polish to the general experience of our game. Continuous playtesting and bug fixing will take place while we enter our final week of development.

In our final week of development, we mostly did quality of life improvements. We added edge-scrolling with your mouse, showed when new types of ducks arrived,  indicating when you don't have enough resources to build a building, a deconstruction system. We also did a number of balance changes like changing the cost of towers, adjusting duck health and speed, and improving certain towers. Additionally, we made number of juice improvements, such as new ducks to the game, a cutscene for beating the game, adjustments to tower descriptions, health bars for boss type enemies, a number of UI updates, and updates the title screen to be more interesting. Lastly, we fixed a large number of bugs and improved performance greatly. We are looking to the future showcase with great anticipation as we come to a close on our development
