That Mario Kart analysis was interesting, right up until he did a cheap "it's all subjective, but the complexity sure makes it interesting to analyse" cop-out. Way to ruin a good video.
There are some really nice horn arrangements in that mario kart music |

There are some really nice horn arrangements in that mario kart music I meant that he basically was covering his own ass by claiming the position of a spineless art critic who pretends that you cannot make objective observations about art and that everything can be relativist because subjectivity, even though he just spent a whole video making clearly objective observations about a piece of art. It's the aesthetic equivalent to claiming that opinions are never wrong. |
