I think it's fairly obvious I don't do this for a living. This was really just a 'break away from music'...

Uh, no, actually it's both chest and belly area. Unless you're doing an heroic pose 24/7 (but even Cyclops up there inflates his belly a little).

Giant Clock Puzzle!
(Concept Art Top, Game Art Bottom)

When the puzzle is complete, it cracks open as seen on the right, revealing the memento. You can see the WIP door opening below.

Restraint, the Hellhound
He is like a boo from Super Mario. Looks away when you look at it.

Switch for Puzzles
When off, its in pieces in the air. When one, it comes together and tightens.

These are so so so rad. Those animations are great and the objects have such a nice convincing bulk to them.

i fucking hate isometry

the upper left and right ones don't look super right to me but i've spent hours tweaking them already and i'm calling it done for my sanity. i'll figure out isometry later

it's a tough perspective, especially for pixel art where you don't have the real-estate you'd like.

Did you draw those without the grid under them? You should check them on your grid. Top 3 seem much larger.

i didn't use a grid, no; you're absolutely right about up-right and up-left; despite being based on copy-pastes of the bottom-left and bottom-right they got out of control. shrinking them helped.

the top is the exact same as the one below it, actually, though i adjusted it minus one pixel to be smaller.

thank god this is only four frames of animation to fix or i'd wanna ~ die ~

The ones in the back do look bigger, but I think it might be because of that old illusion. Since we see the sheep as if they are on a 3d plane, our minds take the ones at the back, which are in reality the same size as the front ones, and interpret them to be further away, and therefore larger.

Some of them look a bit awkward and their sizes don't all (seem to) match, but I like what you have going quite a bit. The pink and black is really easy on the eyes and you achieved a really painterly look.

It does look like a painting style. Smiley

If you are going to have it at that resolution or higher you might be better to try a few more shades on the wool instead of dithering though?

nah, it's gonna be at pixel-for-pixel, not 2X

in any case, it's for a client's game (not my own thing), otherwise i'd be able to spend way more time on it

but thanks all <3
