It seems you often do the orange and blue/teal color combination

I dont mean to compolain  or so, just pointing out this interesting phenomena.

Trying to imitate Paul Robertson is too much fun.

update: don't know what to do with the walls. after I draw them in I will use a gradient to fade to black to show the river stretching on forever.

ive decided to take game and watch style games and convert them to greek myths. I have ideas for Tantalus, Sysaphus and possible Hercules and the hydra.

Ack!  Too cute!
Just curious, what tool do you use for animation?  Is that deer moving across with a keyframe animation?

To be honest, I did the animation in MMF 2, but the basic procedure went like this: I animated the deer frame by frame and saved those frames separately, then imported them to Animation Shop and combined the background and the animation. The reason I used MMF 2 was to ensure that the movement was steady.

I liked it before, but I love the changes you made.  It seems like you have a clear vision now, and I think the concept of doing Game & Watch games with greek mythology is a great idea.  You could put them all together in a bundle and call them Greek & Watch (or something much cooler) Good luck Gentleman

TLB don't be creepy Tongue Pretty cute though, but the hair on the blonde one at the back makes her head look a little too wide or something.. doesn't conform to the skull like I think it would.

Greek & Watch

That's fantastic!
Also, it reminded me of what I'm doing.

That is, I'm trying to base the bosses and characters I'm making off of mythological/religious/folklore figures. Right now it might not be so obvious.

I noticed that too, right after i posted, "throwing stone in a glass house" we would say in sweden Tongue

Some character, not for a game. For me it sometimes feels hard to finalize a sprite when its gotten to this stage, some details are there, but most is left to do.

Ugh, I can't handle clouds to save my life. Attempting a blue instead of a grey palette.
Is it a bad thing to stare at that jet in awe of accomplishment?

The anonymous guy is hardly a mythological or folklore figure Karuvitomsk.

Huh, you're right. I hadn't noticed that.

That looks a bit better. I fixed her hair strand a bit, too.
