Jackson - Thanks for the feedback; I need as much as I can get. Can you point out exactly what you're talking about with the lighting? Using your above image as an example, it feels very dark, with little contrast/definition between shapes/colors etc. I feel light it should look so much brighter and warmer, like this (quick photoshop filtering)

It's probably a monitor issue, but that looks waay overblown. If it's a lack of contrast, though, lightmapping may be the solution; I really haven't bothered with it yet because it's incredulously slow. Also: Probably fill it with rocks, plants, and stuff since it's supposed to be old and unkempt.

This guy'll either be the first level's boss or miniboss, depending on whether or not I can expand on its strategy.

Gave Ellie and Gil more attacks, and completely redid Van's.

Wow! Just... Wow!
Astonishing.
Animation is really well done, seems very polished. Scenery, oh the scenery... characters, everything so far gives a feeling of awe. I miss this, I really do, since such games as Kingdom Hearts and Threads of Fate.
I wish you all success possible with this. I want to play it as soon as possible. Your passion in this is very clear, I can't think of anything but epicness coming out of this.

Thanks, guys! Your words have bolstered my resolve to make good time on this, Trettyhan! Also fuzzies. Lots of fuzzies.
Progress on one of the functions of Van's Chain Grapple skill. Plenty of stuff left to do with it, but it works pretty well.

Thank'eh! You're definitely on the list. Spoiler alert: I love lightbeams: I just wish I could figure out how I could get them to not look like they're clipping through stuff.

That's unity right? I think there is shader for soft particle that take care about clipping artefact (check particle they softly clip through geometry in unity)

Hmmm; I didn't see any that do that sort of thing. New moon and sun! I've also gotten climbable surfaces working well enough, and am doing a bit of work on dialogue boxes.

The sun looks pretty great, but the moon is kind of hard to comprehend. It looks like just swirls of clouds (?) around a collection of more clouds. Anyway, great work as always!

Thanks, man. The moon's a bit easier to understand against a darker sky: It's supposed to resemble the logo: Two crescent moons surrounding a full one, with the 'wings' consisting of the floating chunks of ground that make up the entirety of the world. It all orbits that center moon.

Here ye go (PC only, unfortunately)And apparently you can upload stuff on IndieDBI'd make a Mac build, but Unity has some weird permissions issue or something that prevents them from being played. All you need to do is unzip the contents anywhere. The escape key will close the program. Also has controller support, though I've only tested it with the Xbox controller. I spent the entirety of yesterday having friends attempt to break it and fixing whatever bugs cropped up. We got quite a few, but there are some that aren't caused by the code, but Unity itself. This, of course, is really annoying. Here's hoping that Unity Pro is more dependable.

Ah you are on free! that's why soft particle shader won't work, you need to compare the pixel depth in the pixel shader and then fade by the difference once it reach a certain threshold ...

Seems to run fine in Wineskin though it doesn't seem to be capturing the mouse correctly, unfortunately. :/

If it's just the mouse movement, you can press C to make the camera act like the Zelda camera, no mouse required.
