on topic: I totally was un-enthused by LBP, but after watching a few youtube vids it actually seems pretty...neat. Neat is a good word for this. Still seems pretty pointless to me but I see alot of potential coming from the user-generated content.
I don't like the sockpeople though. I'd prefer something more alive.

I kind of like the look. They're like little voodoo dolls. It adds a touch of evil to the game. Speaking of which, there should be a Charlton Heston sock-person. |

I got to play last night, but I didn't get enough time in to make any meaningful progress. So far, I'm enjoying it... but the controls -- well, maybe not the controls but, the gravity and physics of the world take more getting used to than I thought. That's not a negative thing at all.
