It's a shoot-em-up in a procedurally-generated cavern designed so indiscriminate shooting will make things more difficult.

Made in 48 hours for the Ludum Dare challenge using the incomparable Flixel API.

Arrow keys move, x fires.

Interesting concept.

I think the disincentives for blind shooting are a little too strong.  As far as I can tell, the best way to survive is not to shoot at all.  The bats aren't worth shooting, the stalagmites/stalactites aren't worth shooting, and while the centipedes are worth killing if you can, they take enough shots that it's often better to just quickly move past them, and that's assuming they're in a position where you can hit them at all.
