Hey guys,  this is my first attempt at making a game, and I'd like to get some feedback on how to improve it. It is pretty much a first draft, using the graphics from game maker and my very very limited coding skill, but I'd love to hear from you guys how I can improve.

I know it needs  work, but I don't have much experience and could use a few pointers.

arrow keys - move
down arrow - go faster
space bar - add current collected drips to score

drip.rar 1mb

the more drips you have when you add them to your total score, the more points you get. ie. at 2 drips you get 4 points
at 6 drips you get 36 points

I suggest you choose something else than pre-made pacman ghost graphics! Wink
It'd be way better to draw your own.

I will make my own graphics, I just want to focus on making the gameplay fun before I get into that. I want it to be fun before i pretty it up Smiley

it hard to tell when a crack is going to appear so either make the screen longer or the cracks smaller.
