We're looking for an experienced Level designer for our game, An Oath to the Stars. The game is a mecha-anime Danmaku SHMUP inspired by Dodonpachi, Progear and Ikaruga.
The game has already been Greenlit on Steam and we've shown it at a couple of conventions with pretty good response. We're about 80% in development. You can find more info about the project, including concept arts and dev updates, here:
http://himekigames.tumblr.com/For this role, as the genre is pretty niche and hardcore, we're looking for someone who personally loves this types of games. Ideally, you've played Ikaruga, Dodonpachi, Death Smiles and be good at them
You'll be asked to design the general level structures, define enemies waves creating interesting situations, and design cool bullet patterns.
Here's a list of requirements:
- Again, You MUST be passionate about hardcore Danmaku SHMUP
- You should have proven experience in the role and a portfolio of published arcade games
- You should have experience working with Unity3D
