Very cool idea - and good to see you working on a new project!

So with no direct combat and instant death, is the player relying on good planning/stealth/defense to get around combat?

Exactly! Your main weapon is environment and upgrades. Planning every step is essential.

Currently working on different island features. Every island will have 1 (or more) events going on. Most of them will try to kill you but some of them you can use to your advantage. Here's an example of lightning. I am also experementing on giving every island random prefixes and afixes (think Diablo boss enemies) so that you can plan your tactics from turn 1.

Also I've managed to fix most of the gamebreaking/logical issues. Now I can finally work on some actual content and *hopefully* release something playable soon.
