Fraps doesn't quite seem to understand that my running SWFs are games, so when I press the screen record hotkey, it won't record anything at all. How does one normally record Flash games in action?

I can't use CamStudio, because I don't know how to get it working on Vista. So if anybody know how to do that, then that would also be really appreciated.

Camstudio should work fine on vista, it does for me. If your getting quality issues or strange colours, download and use the camstudio codec, that should fix it.

I've seen that Snapz Pro X works great on mac, but you're not on mac, so...

Weird, I tried CamStudio again and it worked this time. I battled with it for hours before and couldn't get the program to even run, I don't know what's different now, but it's working. Sheesh.

I have to manual-track the loopback audio for "speaker recording" almost each time I use CamStudio. It has it's "things" but I love it.

Also I recommend to use ffdshow codec and then any codec you have but from there. I got better results (even uncompressed works better that way).
