Those t-shirts look great, but the logo on the back makes them a bit goofy.. Also, weren't you gonna pimp out the logo a bit too?

I just left the logo the way it is cuz I'm too lazy to change it everywhere. I'm at my artistic limits with gradient word art...

A player sent me this screenshot of a bug. Even so, I think it's very pretty: Most of the rooms I build are pretty asymmetric and ugly, but this guy knows what he's doing!

This game looks quite intriguing, to the point that I'm potentially interested in throwing in on the Kickstarter. This would, sadly, be the first time I've contributed to Kickstarter(haven't played many games in the past 3 years). My only hold up, however, is that I am unable to test the game out. I saw that you were allowing press to view it, but I really think your Kickstarter would be more successful if you allowed potential investors to play the game. I noticed on your IndieDB page that someone else had a similar request, so I know I'm not alone here. I've also done a little research previously on the keys to success on Kickstarter, as we were planning on kickstarting our next big project, and one thing I noted was that the majority of success stories were either previously well established or they had a playable build available.
Of course I'm not trying to say that it won't be successful without it, but I am saying that I don't think I'm willing to throw in more than $5 without knowing that the core concept is something I'm really going to enjoy. And I may not be alone in this.

The prototype will be available to everyone at some point during the kickstarter (it is one of our updates).
Btw our kickstarter starts in 2 hours!

What's the reason for not having it available at launch? Is it not ready? Are you planning on holding off on doing a strong marketing push until the prototype is publically available? It would be a shame to do a marketing push and have any number of visitors not support the project because they couldn't be bothered to come back once it's available. Again, just offering my thoughts...I'm no master of marketing nor Kickstarting(clearly ).

I just wanted to give the press time to talk about it and get "exclusives" and all of that good stuff. So far it hasn't worked out too well (only had a few let's players), so maybe that was a mistake?
Also, the prototype is hilariously unfinished.

Obviously Break Blocks was pretty much an all around failure, where Dwarf Corp already has a solid group of followers, but every attempt to get press before Break Blocks was finished fell on deaf ears. As for the prototype being unfinished, that's the point(and beauty) of Kickstarter...these are potential investors, not just players...they want to see the game in every state, not just polished builds. It should be playable and slightly presentable, but bugs and lack of features are expected from what I can tell. Again, I have no real experience with it, but my limited research would lead me to believe it'd be a mistake to not get that prototype out in the first few days of the campaign.

Good advice! It will be out there, I can assure you. Bugs and all.
Apparently it was already leaked on 4chan btw...

Oops: "The pre-alpha prototype will soon be available to everyone very soon." That's 1 too many "soon"s in a single sentence

$800+ in less than an hour? Killin it, dude! I've seen games asking for $65K that don't have $800 in the first week! They obviously failed, but that's a solid start! Maybe you don't need a playable build for great success
