Working on increasing the angle of the perspective -



Would love to hear your thoughts on this... It looks pretty good when its small because the imperfections get covered up.

I personally think that the original angle looks better. But I guess I would have to see the entire game in both views to tell. Both look great!

Update:

* Cleaned up a lot of animations
* Rabbit falls from the sky now when he spawns
* Replaced the goal with a trapdoor that the rabbit falls through
* Holy water and rage items are now in the game and will be released next week

Cleaned up the story:

Rabbit is going down different layers of hell. He has to beat 15 layers of hell for his soul to be furdeemed. The furdeemed rabbits fly up to heaven.

We're going to have level "packs" with 15 levels that feature one rabbit hero. They will vary in color and will have different accents / cosmetic features. So for each pack you're going to be furdeeming one rabbit soul.

Thinking about cut-scenes that show what bad deed the rabbit did to deserve ending up in hell. Trying to think of ways to make the process efficient as it will have to be repeated for every level pack.

holy water item in action. When you step on lava while having holy water equipped new ground is conjured under you.

Update:

* Added several particle effects to different elements
* Reapers can now drop items :0
* Level packs completed, releasing a HUGE beta update tomorrow!

This coming week we'll be focusing a lot on the level editor design and implementation.

Furdemption update

New Feature! Select from four different characters to play with.
New Item! Apply pressure to pressure plates and crazy stuff happens.
New Item! Don't poke your eye out on the spikes.
New Item! Demon crates are hard to find, discover what they contain.
New Levels! 15 regular difficulty, 15 expert difficulty.

Lots of visual polish going in right now.

- Larvae that you can squish but don't do anything else
- Better effects
- Shaders
- Better sound
- Hugely improved UI
- Transition screens and title screens
- Rescue missions separate from feather missions

Up next:


- Permanence (pieces of bodies and crates?)
- More particle effects
- More sounds
- Level design polish
- More bugs?

I did not look at this for a longer time, it turned out really good! I really like the "new" font. It emphasizes the fact that this is not another pixel art game. Smiley Hand Thumbs Up Right
