Techincally they're not, they have to get ap ublisher and accept any limitations that microsoft or the publisher put on their creation. It's practically like working in the AAA industry

Team Meat didn't had a publisher, so to call XBLIG "indie" but not XBLA is unfair. There've limitations on XBLIG in terms of what can be sold in there (not as much as on XBLA, granted) and game-wise there's a lot more limitations on XBLIG than on XBLA (no achievements, always online, demos MUST be timed, etc...).

True, but doesn't make much of a difference when it's published on their service anyway. Still aside from a not obligatory time frame I didn't seen Team Meat saying that MS limited them in any way.
By the way:
M$ was the publisher
LOL.
What's up, camarade?
(I have nothing on communism, but I never, never understood the meaning on that "$".  It's like is bad for Microsoft to get money from their work or smthg)

m$ is the regular acronym i had always seen use to denote Microsoft, it's more like a tradition.
