so far, the 100$ entry fee is the only money me and Renaud have spent making Fez. 50$ each. well fucking worth it. (and then the trip to GDC itself) |

It did get me a screenshot on Kotaku tho, so it was totally worth it.
Also people should go to GDC regardless. It is the shit.

The truth is there's a bit more time to work on your project. Since you can update your game after the deadline, you get few extra months to polish up your game. Also I'm really fucking excited that I get to play all the cool new indie games as a judge  |

I do like the extra time; however, sadly, even if we had two years as a deadline, I'd still end up scrambling at the last minute to get something playable that I was happy with because that's just how these things go.
