Players are invited to try the free multiplayer demo available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux at the game's official website http://www.conquest-game.com. Both paying and demo customers are able to play against each other with certain restrictions. For more information see http://www.conquest-game.com/features/. Retail price of the full version is 15$ (excluding VAT).

Facebook fans are given an opportunity to receive game discounts, as 5 random fans will be chosen to award with 33% discount coupons. The official Conquest facebook page is located at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Conquest/375488914911.

I extracted the archive, ran Conquest which then self updated and quit. Ran Conquest again and registered an account, but when I hit play it just says "A new version of Conquest is available, please restart to update.".  I tried restarting a few times but I just get the same message.  I'm using Ubuntu 10.04.

sent by PM.

While i'm here Smiley   It might be an idea to have the launching shellscript at the top level of the archive rather than the user needing to go into the binaries folder and look for something to launch, just to make it easier to run.

downloading an update as soon as I play the game is kinda annoying.

and I'm in-game and this is what I was afraid of. nobody to play with. I tried to get some people from IRC but only 2 demo players are allowed in a game at a time.

so I played against the AI instead, no big deal.

ok I played two games, still not really knowing what's going on. No matter what I do, I'm usually destroyed fast. I had like 10 units and I clicked end turn and all of a sudden I had zero?
