I would love to see a writing subforum.

I would participate in a writing forum. All of my games to date have been story games. (Fruit-o-matic doesn't count, because... um..)

Audio section suffers from the fact that too many people advertise via topics there ): Every composer has its own music thread even though the "Show us your music thread" is pinned. So when I go there I bounce off quickly because it looks like a place for ads.
Design section is pretty good though I don't see a lot of writing discussion there. Is there a lack of writers (or just people interested in game storytelling) on this forum? Or do writers bounce off from that subforum?
In any case, I'd prefer writing to be separated from design.

There are some of ads, yeah, but a lot of prolific composer indies put their music up for free. It's definitely better to start your own thread if you want feedback, because pages of the "Show us your music" thread can go by and not one person will actually be responding to another.

So, it seems that more or less everyone here is in favor. What do we need to do to make this happen?

Genius idea. I'm surprised it wasn't there to begin with.

I would like to express my opinion that this has been a success so far and should definitely stay right where it is.
