I just got Oblivion...I am so beind I hated Oblivion. I can't believe I bought it! I played it for about 15 minutes and haven't touched it since. What has happened to modern RPGs? I hope Fallout 3 is better.

Well I certainly wouldn't judge a game but the first 15 minutes of gameplay. Of course, that is the best time to actually captive gamers. Still I think it is a good game later on.

I just got Oblivion...I am so beind wouldn't even run on my current compy. But I've just shelled out couple grand on a new machine and for once in my life, I will actually be able to buy and play the current PC games!! I'm looking forwards to: Fallout 3 Far Cry 2 Mirror's Edge Red Alert 3 Older ones I want to catch up on: COD 4 HL2 Ep 1 and Ep 2 (I have beaten these but on crappy low graphics x_X) F.E.A.R. (Got half way, again on crappy graphics) Bioshock Crysis Mass Effect Chronicles of Riddick etc

Dead Space is as scary and as awesome as Resident Evil 4 (so, not at all scary and really awesome).

Mirror's Edge, Dead Space and Gears 2, I guess. First two look incredible in their own special ways, and I man, I just like Gears. I'm sure there's more, but I can't remeber 'em at the moment. I'd get Little Big Planet like crazy, but I don't have one o' dems PS3's.
Wow, that's two EA games outta three. Guess I should just leave now.
ALSO: All those XBLA games I haven't picked up yet. Time to throw some more support our way. And play Castle Crashers.
ACTUALLY: Before I quit in shame, who's the TIGer working on Dead Space? I remember a thread a while ago, but, you know.

Oblivion is fricking awesome.
Only thing I'm waiting to get the chance to buy right now is the new Castlevania title.

Am I the only person that doesn't think Mirrors Edge looks all that good?

Looks neat, but that's what trailers are supposed to do. I'd probably play it for like... 15 minutes to mess around with the gameplay, then get bored and quit.
Soo... where does that put me?

I'm going for: C&C: Red Alert 3 Fallout 3 Dead Space (aleady came out, but I don't have it yet) Mirror's Edge (I have all my hopes in this one)
I think it's going to be released this year, not sure, but Stalin vs. Martians is a must.

Now, if anyone on this forum will ever try to tell me that mainstream games all suck, are too big, boring, gray and gritty, totally uncreative and not fun to play, I will just link to this thread .

Am I the only person that doesn't think Mirrors Edge looks all that good? They could pretty easily screw up and make it boring, linear and clunky, but I hope they don't. Also, is there anywhere that lists the lineup of games coming out Autumn/Winter (Spring/Summer here, but whatever)? I never really keep track of these things unless there is something that looks really interesting and keeps popping up.

Lucky for us that there's still the UK giving us PAL releases of all the censored stuff. But I think both Gears games are region-free anyway.
