When I saw a site with nothing on it but a form asking for an email address, that didn't exactly inspire confidence. I'm wary of stuff like that, so used a temporary address to verify that it was legit.
To anyone reading this, I can confirm that I was given access to download a 155mb ZIP archive of sounds. I didn't get the link in an email, though, which seems a bit weird (What's my address used for?). Anyway, I don't see any weapon sounds, but there's some really good variety in there.
One important note for the creator: It's generally a good idea to make it clear what the license you're using is. People have to know if you want attribution or not, if you want to limit what they can be used for, whether they can be modified, etc. Even if you don't want attribution and there are no limitations on use, that has to be clear.
