It ran fine in Vista for me, although I don't remember off-hand whether I've tried the absolute latest version.

I like it! Simple, intuitive, cute. The music goes really well with the setting too. Reminds me of the Runaway Bunny...
It got pretty tough once there were a fair number of sun things and angry red hash marks, but I was able to platform my way past them. I really liked that the clouds left little puff trails as I hopped through them!
Cheers, --Zack

Should be, as it is GM7. Also, took this from another thread. Could help anyone with problems running, though I'm sure I don't have any of this stuff and GM games work fine for me: I had this issue with the demo actually and found a solution. Updated DirectX to 9.0c but did not correct the problem. What I did right after was to update my .Net Framework to the new 3.5 edition. http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/netframework/aa569263.aspx3.0 may have worked as well but I decided to go to the more recent version. Sure enough, Magi loads. : ) Also do note that I had some issues with the bootstrapper edition (where it downloads a small file to then download all the other files from the net) - they do have a link with the full install further down the page after you select to access 3.5. Going to look around for more data.

Heh, I didn't think GM needed all the .NET stuff.
But I get this kind of complaint so rarily anyway.

I don't think it's GM in general, since I have it too on my computer, and yesterday I plowed through 10 of cactus' games (which are all made from GM I think) without getting that error. Strange though.
Anyway, it was a nice game, but pretty easo to beat if you just combo jump through the whole thing (given that those red spikey things aren't around) since the thunder clouds take some time to charge up.

http://www.filedropper.com/minustruefinalAbsolutely final for the competition, ain't touching it no more. I basically removed the health system. It went against the feel and flow of the game. Being hurt still sets you back, but you can't die. Hope you guys enjoy this more. Also, if you find the window too small hit F4 for a crappy kind of fullscreen.

Just got around to playing this, and I'm a bit sad I didn't play earlier. I had a big smile on my face the whole time Not crazy about the jump sound, though. It's so peaceful, the little bounce sound doesn't seem to fit for me.

But after the competition you can expect to see a lot of changes. Watch this space.

I'm not sure that I actually want an answer to this question, Melly, but I have to ask.
Is there any significance to the name "Minus"?

Well, some would like to wonder about it, so I'll tell you in ultra tiny text To be honest it was just a name that a friend of mine suggested. I felt it fit with the character and went with it. It also makes the game much more noticeable than "Clouds" would.
But I guess one thing that led me to choose it was that, in code, making the character move up is done by decreasing his "y" value, so... yeah. Not as phylosophical as you might have thought. Sorry to disappoint.

Quite a cool game! The more I play it, the more the atmosphere of it really pulls me in. It would be pretty neat if there were online high scores for individual seeds, since there aren't THAT many. Of course I I have no idea how feasible that'd be. Anyway it rox.

It reminded me of an Orisinal game, which I adore. It was very fun to play, though I didn't get nearly to the top after an hour and I can't hit the clouds worth a damn. But, I still enjoyed every minutes of playing. Would be nice if the full screen filled the screen a bit more, on my computer it didn't do much other than put a background behind it, where I like things big because I can't see well.

Agh, crap it, I left something I shouldn't on. Sorry about that, uploading a fixed version this instant.
