Inspired by The Screamers, I decided to do a little synthpunk.

I released an OST for a game called 'GridXross: Dreams'. Has a synthy futuristic feel and was lots of fun to make! :D

I made this track for a game that my friends and I are working on. I started composing it in my head during the latter half of work today and I’m quite proud of it. It feels very cinematic. I could see it being in an 80s action movie… or even a 90s action movie. I could see Michael Biehn in a night setting stalking some drug lords or terrorists.

I got bored a few nights ago so tried to do a "spit song", kind of like when artists do a "spit paint" in a set amount of time, usually less than an hour.

Kinda took a few vibes from Silent Hill's piano heave stuff and is still kinda rough, I did it from start to finish in an hour and just stopped once time ran out! Have a listen:

I like how dynamic everything is, and it is all really well put together.

I loved reading this sci-fi book series called The Expanse. I haven't read the latest book yet because I'm a bit of a nitpick when it comes to getting paperback/hardcover versions...

In any case, I wanted to write a theme song for it just for kicks. Give it a listen!

And if you haven't read the book series, you should. It hits all the right Firefly feels.

Hi-

I posted an archaeological compilation of (almost) all the DAW-based music I've ever written: http://rogerlevy.net/blog/all-my-old-music-in-one-big-zip-file/

Direct link:
kidfingers.zip (1GB)

Most of it is either boppy videogamey stuff or rather dark & disturbing.  A lot of unreleased, or previously released and then un-released, stuff.  A lot of unfinished stuff too.
