I'm taking a class on Caribbean film right now, and the professor gave us the freedom to make just about any type of final project we wanted to. Of course, I made a game.
The game puts the player in control of ICAIC, the state-controlled Cuban film institute. You have the freedom to determine which films are shown and which films are censored. Your decisions will play a large role in what happens to the future of the island. There are 12 different possible endings.
Download it here. The game still needs a bit of polish. If you have any suggestions, please give them to me as soon as possible since the project is due in a few hours.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. I wanted to make a game that teaches through mechanics rather than pure narration, and I think I accomplished that.
