screenshot!
yes this is a screenshot from the game.

the idea behind this is a game where you cant see anything and you have to have a reliance on sound to win. designed with the intention for blind people to be able to play. blind maze is a simple maze game where you have to navigate to a goal. you cant see where you are, the goal or the maze walls. there are no enemies.

controls: up, down, left, right = movement

its a work in progress and this is something i mocked up in a few minutes. any feedback is much appreciated.

play it here!

if want to play an extreme one level version play it here!

note: must have sound but dont put it on max.

This was pretty challenging!  But not so challenging it was impossible.  The movement speed also felt well calibrated.  I think the collision sound effect could be something a little less audibly abrasive though.

yeah i agree with the sound effect and i will change it to something a little less harsh in the next phase. i wanted a sound that was punishing in a sense and that sound clip was only one i could find from the default sound package.
thanks for your feedback and glade you didnt find the game impossible.
