Hey ! This is the shop, the place where we can buy some items and upgrades using the gems we recollect during the game. Right now we are working in the shop UI and functionality + other animations and stuff.

@Smerik: Fürwind its not wearing any outfit, you are the first person who points that lol !

@kkairos: Thanks for your feedback ! we have tried many combinations with good points on all of them, good thing we have a lot of room for changes  Smiley

Hi there !

We added a new move for Fürwind, the tail attack. We are revamping the stomp attack and some of his special powers too and it will be ready very soon !!

Here you can see the animation with more detail

After the announcement of the elimination of Steam Greenlight we are a bit scared with all the uncertainty, we had the plan of applying for Greenlight at the end of this week and now we dont known what to do. Could our game get the green light before spring? Are we going to waste our time and money trying to get greenlighted ? We will be able to pay the inscription for Steam Direct ?.
Lots of questions ! i hope valve give us a little bit of information so we can spend our time correctly.

I think a lot of games are going to try to squeeze through Greenlight before it shuts down, so if you were already prepared to apply, then I'd say go for it. That is - if you've got enough promo material, etc, to make a good run at it. It's also possible that Greenlight will be overloaded with submimssion, making it extra important to have a solid presentation.

Hey !
We are applying for Greenlight in the next days, this is some kind of "all in" for us because of all this uncertainty but we hope to make it through since there is many approved projects with debatable quality, at least in the visual aspect.
We known life doenst end in steam but like it or not its the bigger one so all our hopes are put in to this.

We will be releasing a greenlight trailer very soon !!

@Pixel Noise: Thanks for your thoughts, at first we got really scared with the Steam direct announcement but we have hopes in Fürwind, i think we can make it.

Hi there !  Gentleman

Its been a busy week since we launched our project in Steam Greenlight, in general terms Furwind had a good reception, lots of positive comments and questions about the game. Its a great feeling to see people showing interest in our project.

And now a little bit of numbers:

As you can see the ratio its looking good but we need to keep the momentum, its kind of hard because we are a small team and to gain visibility we have to stop producing, but hey, no one said this was going to be easy.


Whats next ?

  • New kind of levels out of the main branch with more unique mechanics.
  • Expanding the tilesets.
  • Bosses/Mini-bosses
  • More common enemies and traps.
  • Cinematics.

Great work. it looks very polished and love the trailer (though it needs sfx).  I just voted for your project and left a comment, hope you can do the same for me  Coffee

BTW Very good stats there and amount of votes. May I ask why you need to keep momentum? Is that a necessity of being greenlit? You have 1000 votes and very positive % so shouldnt it be enough?

@InterGalactic: Thank you ! we have some of the SFX finshed but its was just not enough for the trailer.
We need to keep a good momentum because we want to get out of Greenlight before is closed and getting more votes is gaining people probably interested in your game.

About your project i have to say im a fan of games like S.P.A.Z or Starsector, of course you have my vote. I wish you the best !

Grin haha I see. Hmmm, not quite :D, that word in itself doesn't exist or make any sense in German (at least not that I'm aware of). If you'd translate it literally it's "for wind".

Tailwind would be Rückenwind, Fürwind does not exist in the german language, but it sounds positive (to me, subjectively), because Für und Wider is pros and cons or Ich bin dafür! is I'm in favor of it!, to be for (dafür) something and not against (Ich bin dagegen!). So there is a positive connotation. Smiley

Hi there !

We are adding mini-bosses to Fürwind. This is the guardian, an old protector of balance now corrupted by evil forces.


This type of enemy is going to be presented at first like a mini-boss then it will be like a uncommon enemy in certain areas. Its going to have some attack patterns like old-school bosses.

@amanfr01: Thank you ! I love mini-bosses too. They add a nice spicy touch, surprising you in the middle of a level,giving you little pieces of the history or presenting new mechanics.
