Don't write your shit on random pieces of paper; they'll get lost. Buy a sketchbook and write your stuff in there so it's all in one place. Plus it'll look cool after you've written it for a long time, what with all those scribbles and doodles in various inks. Some folks use the Notepad on windows, but I prefer the physicality that a sketchbook provides. I actually have a drawing pad right here on my freakin desk I could use, the thing is I'm usually so tired around bedtime that I just shrug it off and assume I'll remember it. Need to stop doing that ... or alternatively I could stop staying up until 2 am every night

I never write anything down, at least not when it comes to "creative" stuff. I've come to the conclusion that if I don't remember it, it probably wasn't worth remembering anyway. Also whenever I try to take notes I never look at them again. And lastly I'm a lazy, disorganized fuck.

Actually now that I think about it, I used to write game concepts on notepad, but after a while it got to the point where I had like 10 game concepts sitting around and 6 projects running at once (Probably more now that I think about it ) I like the idea of writing things down, but I've found that if I start writing about ideas in detail chances are it will never happen

Getting forcibly drugged by a cult and having your liver harvested as an offering to Satan. Uhh, not that it happened to me, I'm just saying it would probably suck.

Being uncertain of your career choice.
How about completing a degree in something you don't really like and feeling too old to study something you would actually like?. Third party controllers that break easily, but look really cool. Aggressive dogs. Absurdly bad grammar. Hypochondriasis. When you can't stop over-thinking. Superstition. People who justify their stupid behavior by saying "this is the internet, who cares?" or something along those lines.

getting pumped to make something and then not
realizing that people will never do certain awesome things in your lifetime/ever, even if the technology to do so exists
having a good day ruined by a single word, or a glance, or something horrible you see in passing and can do nothing about

Licensed games, stubborn people, idiots, 'trends', being 'cool', more idiots, sometimes humanity in general, ripoffs, unoriginality, stereotypes, homophobia, profanity, unsensitivity, stupid accidental mistakes that people judge you by, judgemental people, violent people, extreme (I mean constantly rubbing it in your face) religious people, diseases, colds, shortsightedness, deadlines, homework, work, human indecency, procrastination, lack of motivation, boredom... Okay, I'm probably done for now. (Can we have a 'Things that Rock' thread next?)
