I released my very first indie game a few days ago, and I decided to share some of the techniques I used to develop it.
So here's a tutorial on how to use Inkscape extension system to suit it to your game development needs; for example, it could easily be turned into a polygon based level editor for a physics based game.
Still can't beat a homemade tool but it can help for rapid prototyping!

Your link is broken - remove the quotation marks and the extra "http://" and it should work fine.

Wow, that looks really awesome! I've tinkered around with using inkscape as a level editor before, but that was mainly just changing the labels of objects, then parsing that from the svg into a custom format before runtime.
