My upper HUD needs more detail.

That's a cool mockup you got there, bro. Is this a biblical roguelike?

Thanks, broham. Thinking of doing either a roguelike set in Hell or a roguelike set in Hell-on-Earth. That mockup's a reference to a specific Beksinski painting.

Experimenting a little with the patterns.  Not so happy with the way it turned out.  I'll have to try a different approach next time.

He can do both.

Like, combining the two. Roguelike Construction Kit.

EDIT:

Control your adventurers by laying down arrows to direct them (à la Chu Chu Rocket), crash into enemies to kill them (Ys) and level up so you can crash into more powerful monsters. There is a preview of the order of tiles (Tetris) and you can change the order of your guys using the arrows in the top corner of their profiles for strategy and shit.

I apologize for my tardiness at getting a new version out. I have no excuse, really.

REgardless, here's a new version with some improvements:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/511152/ASCIIPaint.exe
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/511152/ASCIIPaint.swf

Improvements include:

- Brush size
- An easy way to toggle what you want to draw (character, color and/or back color)
- Select tool that allows to copy/paste
- a floodfill tool (not that fast for huge areas)

New hotkeys:
C - copies selected area
V - pastes previous copy onto the new position of the selection cursor
L - Fill/Clear current layer

This was pretty rushed so let me know if you guys find any issues.
